Dr. Matthew Sabo is founder and chief executive officer of The Foot and Ankle Wellness Center of Western Pennsylvania, where he provides medical and surgical foot and ankle care. Board certified in foot and ankle surgery, Matthew Sabo, DMP, has 26 years of podiatry experience serving Armstrong, Butler, Mercer, and nearby communities.
Dr. Matthew Sabo’s clinical background includes advanced wound care, diabetic limb preservation, sports medicine, and surgical reconstruction. He uses advanced technologies alongside conservative and surgical care options, tailoring discussions to each patient’s condition, goals, and daily activities. Matthew Sabo, DPM, has served as a principal investigator or participant in 18 clinical trials, with work involving wound-care technologies and lower-extremity health. He completed comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was chief resident. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
